Wide noodles with fresh cheese

Required Ingredients:

  • Wide noodles, 400 g
  • Bacon, 150 g (dried)
  • Butter, 30 g
  • Fresh cheese, 250 g
  • Sour cream, 200 ml
  • Egg, 1
  • Ground red pepper, 1 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Step-by-step Instructions:

Cook the noodles in a pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions.

Cut the bacon into small strips and put them in a pan over heat. Sauté lightly.

In a clean bowl, pour in the sour cream, add fresh cheese, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Crack one whole egg into the bowl and whisk the ingredients together.

When the bacon has rendered its fat, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.

Add the cooked noodles to the pan with bacon, mix well, and add the mixture of fresh cheese and a cube or two of butter.

Transfer the ingredients to a suitable ovenproof dish, sprinkle with a little ground red pepper, and place it in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes.
